Surtaal Tabla — Your practice companion

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Surtaal Tabla mobile application ("App") operated by Surtaal Tabla ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use Surtaal Tabla. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
You may use Surtaal Tabla anonymously or by creating an account using email, Apple Sign In, or Google Sign In. You are responsible for:

Surtaal Tabla offers both a free tier and a Pro subscription. Subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store and processed by Apple.
Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually). Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings.
Refund requests are handled by Apple according to their refund policy. We do not process refunds directly.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Surtaal Tabla on your iOS device for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

You agree to use Surtaal Tabla only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. You must not:
All content within Surtaal Tabla — including but not limited to the tabla audio samples, UI design, raag and taal compositions, icons, and branding — is owned by or licensed to Surtaal Tabla and is protected by copyright and intellectual property law.
Your practice data (sessions, goals, recordings) remains yours. By storing it in the App, you grant us a limited licence to process it solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.
Surtaal Tabla is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
We are not responsible for the accuracy of any musical or educational content within the App. Surtaal Tabla is a practice tool and should not be treated as a substitute for formal instruction.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Surtaal Tabla and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the App, including loss of data or practice records.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account. This permanently removes your data from our systems.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without notice, if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the service. Upon termination, your licence to use the App ceases immediately.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nepal, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Kathmandu, Nepal.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify you via an in-app notification.
Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the App.
